Women's Footwear in America

This summer while going through family photos I came across these two mystery ones.  I have no idea who the woman and the baby are.  We were having fun trying to figure out when they were taken from the bathing suits.  1950’s? What do you think.

    Thanks for commenting Theadora. An older friend visiting from Paris mentioned she remembered wearing a suit like the child has on in the 1950’s. I thought the mother’s suit seemed a little too revealing, but the french have always been ahead of us when it comes to fashion.

  I’d say that sounds about right. Lovely moment between the child and adult. Kid’s suit so cute also!
