    My grandfathers jewelry factory was on 48th and 5th Ave. That was the jewelry area.

    When I lived in the Village, 8th Street was the hub. I had my hair cut there by a Frenchman. I loved the boutiques. Dad and I had the wedding rings made there. The bookstore with the dollar books was there. Pottery Barn started in an upstairs room there. Lots of memories. Mother
